New Connection

Power / Water New Connection refers to the process of obtaining a fresh electricity or water supply connection from MIDC for industrial operations. The applicant must submit an application along with the approved building plan, occupancy details, load requirement (for power), and pay the prescribed connection and deposit charges. After technical inspection and approval, MIDC provides the new service connection for the unit’s operational use

Enhance Connection

Enhance Connection refers to increasing the capacity of an existing power or water connection to meet higher industrial demand. The lessee must apply to MIDC with justification for additional load or water requirement, along with production expansion details, approved plans, and revised load calculations. After assessment and payment of applicable enhancement and deposit charges, MIDC approves and upgrades the connection accordingly.

Name Change

Name Change (Power / Water Connection) refers to transferring an existing MIDC electricity or water connection from one company’s name to another—usually after plot transfer, ownership change, or company name change. The applicant must submit documents such as the MIDC transfer order, lease deed / sub-lease copy, Board Resolution, and No Dues Certificate. After verification, MIDC updates its records and issues a revised connection letter in the new name.

No Dues Certificate

No Dues Certificate (NDC) is an official document issued by MIDC confirming that the lessee has no outstanding payments toward lease rent, water charges, service fees, or any other dues. It is a mandatory requirement for processes such as plot transfer, mortgage, sub-letting, or name change, ensuring that all financial obligations to MIDC are fully cleared.
