Building Permission
Your Partner in Industrial Success
Plan Permission
Plan Permission means obtaining approval from MIDC for building plans, layouts, and designs before starting any construction on an industrial plot. The submitted plans must comply with MIDC Development Control Regulations, including plot coverage, FSI, setbacks, and fire safety norms. Construction can begin only after receiving the Building Plan Approval Letter from MIDC
Fire NOC Permission
Fire NOC Permission is an approval issued by the MIDC Fire Department or local fire authority certifying that the building’s design and construction comply with all fire safety norms. It is required both before construction (Provisional NOC) and after completion (Final NOC) to ensure proper installation of fire-fighting systems like sprinklers, hydrants, and alarms for safe industrial operation.
Occupancy Certificate
Occupancy Certificate (OC) is an official document issued by MIDC after completion of construction, certifying that the building is safe and constructed as per the approved plans and regulations. It allows the owner to legally occupy and use the premises for the approved industrial or commercial purpose.
Extension of Time limit
Extension of Time Limit is the formal approval granted by MIDC when an industrial unit requires additional time to complete construction or obtain necessary permissions such as Occupancy Certificate. The lessee must submit a written request stating valid reasons for the delay, along with supporting documents, before the expiry of the original time limit
Tree Trimming Replantation Permission
Tree Trimming / Replantation Permission is the approval required from the MIDC Horticulture Department or the Tree Authority before cutting, trimming, or transplanting any trees within an industrial plot. This ensures compliance with the Maharashtra (Urban Areas) Protection and Preservation of Trees Act, 1975. The applicant must provide details of existing trees and undertake replantation or compensatory plantation as directed by the authority.
Architect & Structural Engineers services
Architect & Structural Engineer Services involve professional planning, designing, and structural analysis of industrial buildings to ensure safety and compliance with applicable regulations. The architect prepares layout plans, building drawings, and ensures adherence to MIDC and development control norms. The structural engineer designs the load-bearing structure, foundation, and stability aspects of the building. These services are essential for obtaining approvals and Building Completion Certificate (BCC).
Drainage Permission
Drainage Permission is the approval granted by MIDC for connecting an industrial unit’s drainage or effluent discharge system to the authorized drainage or sewer network. It ensures that wastewater disposal complies with MIDC and Maharashtra Pollution Control Board norms. The process involves submission of drainage layout plans, details of effluent generation, and necessary consents such as Consent to Establish/Operate. MIDC verifies that proper treatment systems like ETP/STP are installed before granting permission.
PNG Connection
PNG Connection refers to the supply of piped natural gas to an industrial unit for use in manufacturing processes, heating, or fuel requirements. It is provided by authorized gas distribution companies such as Mahanagar Gas Limited. The process involves submission of an application, KYC documents, layout plan, and required approvals from MIDC. PNG is considered a safe, cost-effective, and environmentally cleaner fuel compared to conventional fuels like diesel or LPG.
