Land Acquisition
Land Acquisition means the process by which the government or authorized agency acquires private land for public purposes such as infrastructure, industry, or development projects. The owners are compensated as per law, usually under the Right to Fair Compensation and Transparency in Land Acquisition Act, 2013
Plot Allotment
Plot Allotment by MIDC refers to the process where the Maharashtra Industrial Development Corporation (MIDC) allocates industrial plots to entrepreneurs or companies for setting up industries. The allotment is made based on applications, project feasibility, and availability of land, followed by issuing an Allotment Letter and executing a Lease Agreement
Plot Transfer
Plot Transfer means the process of transferring ownership or leasehold rights of an industrial plot from one party to another with prior approval from the MIDC. It involves submitting required documents such as a transfer application, consent letters, NOCs, and payment of prescribed transfer fees before the Deed of Assignment is executed
Change of Use
Change of Use refers to obtaining permission from MIDC to use an industrial plot or building for a purpose different from its originally allotted one — for example, from manufacturing to warehousing or commercial use. It requires submitting an application with justification, revised plans, and necessary approvals as per MIDC regulations.
Sub-Division of Land
Sub-Division of Land means dividing a single industrial plot into two or more smaller plots with prior approval from MIDC. This process is usually done for joint ventures, sale, or separate industrial use and requires submission of a layout plan, consent of the existing lessee, and payment of sub-division charges before issuing separate lease deeds for each sub-plot
Amalgamation of Land
Amalgamation of Land refers to the process of combining two or more adjoining industrial plots into a single plot with prior approval from MIDC. This is usually done for expansion, better utilization of land, or large-scale projects. It requires submission of a joint application, layout plan, and payment of applicable amalgamation charges, after which a revised lease deed is executed for the combined plot.
Land Demarcation
Land Demarcation means marking or defining the exact boundaries of an industrial plot on the ground as per the approved layout and MIDC records. It is carried out by the MIDC Survey Department to ensure there is no encroachment or boundary dispute and to confirm the accurate plot dimensions before development or construction begins.
